With Thanksgiving right around the corner, today we’re concluding our 4-part Fall series with recipes you’ll want to cozy up with this season. Whether you’re feeding the masses or enjoying a quiet night in, these dishes will be sure to please!

Pumpkin Soup

Nothing says Fall more than pumpkin. Whether it’s pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin soup, pumpkin pasta, pumpkin bread or pumpkin pie… we’re in! This creamy pumpkin soup recipe from Food & Wine has our mouths watering!

A staple in our house is this slow cooker chili recipe. As soon as the weather turns cold and football season is upon us, we turn to this simple 5-ingredient recipe. This chili holds its own, and also tastes great on top of a baked potato or piled onto some nachos for the big game. Like your chili with a little extra kick? Start with this basic recipe and spice it up to your heart’s content!

Weeknight Chili

1 lb ground beef (or turkey)1 can (8oz) tomato sauce
1 package (1 1/4 oz) chili seasoning mix1 can (about 15 oz) red kidney beans, rinsed & drained
1 can (about 14 oz) diced tomatoes with green chiles, undrainedOptional: shredded Cheddar cheese and chopped green onions

Step 1. Brown ground beef in large skillet, stirring to break up meat; drain fat. Stir in seasoning mix.

Step 2. Place beef, tomatoes, beans and tomato sauce in slow cooker. Stir to combine. Cover and cook on LOW 4 to 6 hours or on HIGH 2 to 3 hours. Top each serving with cheese and green onions, if desired.
